IMPROVING EFFICIENCY IN CREATIVE WAYS

Bandalier’s philosophy of continuous improvement, or kaizen, forms the foundation of our training program. Our team members are introduced to kaizen during their initial training sessions and are encouraged to practice it every day. The effect is cumulative and impactful.
kaizen philosophy

WE’RE OBSESSED WITH CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

At Bandalier, a culture of continuous improvement is at the center of everything we do. At the recruitment stage, we seek out individuals who demonstrate an aptitude for innovation. We prioritize critical thinking and communication skills in our recruiting. Once team members come on board, they are encouraged to be proactive about improving their own habits and workflows, to make their routine more efficient.

FEATURES OF OUR WORKPLACE

Our workplace reflects the new way we’re working today. It’s designed to help make our team members happy and productive – and our clients satisfied.

FLEXIBILITY

Our culture is designed for working remotely. Team members can work from our talent centers in Binghamton, NY, or Richmond, KY – or wherever works best for them. We encourage a collaborative work style, where team members can work in the ways that are best for them.

FEEDBACK

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we ask all of our team members to share honest feedback. Whether that means helping peers dissect a call or telling managers how they can make meetings more engaging, we love hearing fresh ideas from our team members. It’s just one way we foster continuous improvement.

FUN

We try not to take ourselves too seriously. That’s why every day at Bandalier is Take Your Dog to Work Day. And our teams who work in close proximity to each other often get together for lunches and volunteer at local events. Get a glimpse of our shenanigans on Instagram and TikTok.

Congratulations to our latest monthly award winners, Chloe Arcand and Nikyi Garnett! 🎉

Chloe is taking home our Kaizen Award for her enthusiastic dedication to improvement. They're constantly sharing and receiving feedback, and quick to implement changes. Chloe's proactive and eager to learn. Whether that means enthusiastically supporting existing growth initiatives or recommending new ones, they're one of the first people to speak up.

Nikyi won our A/B Test Award for his test on outreach timing. Reaching folks at different times of the day can yield different results, and Nikyi's test helped him pinpoint when his emails and phone calls are most likely to generate replies.

Congratulations again to both winners!

Need to build rapport quickly during a conversation? Our team knows all the best ways to do it - here are some of our favorite tips for connecting with people:

1. Practice active listening. Don't just listen to respond, listen to understand. One of the best ways to keep someone engaged is to show them that you're engaging with their experiences. Ask simple questions to make sure you understand their point before you move the conversation forward.

2. Ask for help. If you aren't confident in your understanding, ask someone to explain! Outline what you know so far, and be specific about what you'd like to learn. Most people will be glad to teach you something, and the experience will make your conversation stand out in their memory.

3. Do some research. You can learn a lot by speaking to someone, but it's helpful to know what you'd like to ask them about. This is especially true for sales calls!

4. Find commonalities. Look for things you may have in common with the person you're chatting with. It could be as simple as liking the same sports team or having attended the same school.

Happy Tuesday! Today's tips are about maintaining your motivation. It can be tough when things don't go as planned. What's important is staying motivated!

1. Stay positive. Bad experiences often feel larger than good ones. Focus on what's going well, and look for ways to keep improving over time.

2. Expect the best from yourself. Put your best effort in - that's as much as you can do!

3. Set small goals. It's easy to feel discouraged when you're looking at a monumental task. Instead, focus on the smaller accomplishments that will help you get closer to your goal.

4. Keep it fun. Sometimes you need a little reward for trying your hardest and hitting your goals. Whether that means enjoying your favorite snack after a long work day or going to your favorite café to celebrate the weekend, find the rewards that make you feel the best. Having something to look forward to can help make things easier!
